Hais best friend. He is also at Ba Sing Se university. He is a great earth bender. Tian found out about the war and the Dai Li brain washed him. Hais is currently trying to bring him back to normal. Tian lives in the middle ring of the city.

Hais and Tian friend. She lives in the lower ring of the city. Sumy is a cheerful and nice girl. She and Hais usually sneak out to the lower ring street parties.
